Seminars, studies and reports CEMOFPSC
In order to get a better understanding of countries such as Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories and Syria, The FPSC funded in 2007 the Centre of Studies of Middle East (CEMOFPSC), a multidisciplinary think tank whose main goal is to reflect and exchange opinions among experts about issues that require a rigorous and efficient dialog, and the search for a common solution. Works and reflections of the CEMOFPSC activities are collected in the “Cuadernos CEMOFPSC” publications and in its website www.cemofpsc.org in Foreign Affairs of MAEC, the CEMOFPSC organized other seminar to present the results of an study made by three experts: William K. Warda, Professor Doctor Antoine Mesarra and the Professor Doctor Asher Maoz, that has been aimed to evaluate the standards of religious freedom in Iraq, Lebanon and Israel and to conclude if they are respecting the international regulation. Finally, we have work in the preparation of a seminar to be celebrated in 2016 aimed to make a reflection about the efficiency of the Humanitarian Aid when facing the challenges caused by changing context in emergency situations, thanks to the assistance of the General Secretary of International Development Cooperation (MAEC).
During, 2015, four seminaries have been celebrated in Rome, on diverse issues such as dialogue and religious freedom, DAESH or immigration. In Madrid, in Casa Arabe and funded by the Humanitarian Aid Office of the Secretary of State for
order to achieve a wider dissemination and awareness of the issues under consideration.
