In 2015 the FPSC has finalized the development Agreement funded by the AECID aimed to improve the quality of education in Democratic Republic Congo. This agreement pays special attention to the training of teachers and principals in public schools and social initiatives in the area of Kinshasa, and to the creation of a quality educational infrastructure. Thanks to the private support of the FPSC, a project aimed to the training of young people and their access to employment has been also finalized. Also in the field of education and with private funds, the FPSC has contributed to the development of the training activities of the Lakeview Study Center in South Africa, aimed to women living in poverty. Likewise, two projects have been concluded in Mozambique. One of them was aimed to improve the water supply and the sanitation in Estaquinha y Barada. The other one was located in the Mangunde hospital, with a positive effect on the health of the population from Sofala. These projects had the financing of Canal Voluntarios and Nando Peretti Foundation, respectively. Finally, in Ethiopia, a project financed by the AECID is being carried out aimed to promote the rural development and to improve the agricultural productivity in East Wellega. Furthermore, in 2016, thanks to the grant of “la Caixa” Social Work, the activities aimed to improve the quality of the health care in Ethiopia through the training of the staff from the San Gabriel Health Center has started.
