Humanitarian aid projects
During 2015, and thanks to the funding of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Human Affairs (OCHA), humanitarian aids actions have established as a priority those refugees with disabilities and vulnerable population by offering them therapeutic services, medication and technical aids from canes and crutches to wheelchairs and orthopedic aids; in the Jordan refugee camp (Za’atari) and in the host communities in Jordan. These activities have been reinforced by the private donation of assistance devices to the Country Palestinian Territories Lebanon Jordan Local partners:
FPSC, that were distributed among 51 men, 44 women, 10 boys and 10 girls from Za’atari, all of them disabled people, after they were evaluated. Also related with the attention to disabled Syrian refugees, and thanks to the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), we are improving the response in mental health through health services and support to humanitarian actors in Lebanon; and meeting the humanitarian Grant €261,935 €611,130 €1,271,427
demands that they have, as well as the needs of the Jordanian population which is particularly vulnerable in the Madaba Governorate (Jordan). The activities that have been carried out in the framework of this last project, performed in consortium with RESCATE, APS and MPDL, were visited by the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Ybañez, during his trip to Jordan, during the 13th and 14th September. Finally, with the support of the AECID, we have been working on the guaranteeing of the protection of their rights in four refugees camps in Gaza. Nº of beneficiaries 1,550 2,250 12,975
