The Foundation for the Social Promotion of Culture (FPSC) is a private and non-profit institution, that has been working since 1987 in the promotion of an human, social and economic development consistent with the dignity of the people and respecting the cultural identity of peoples and social groups.

Since June 2001, it is accredited as a Non-Governmental Organization, and since 2004 it is recognized as Entity with General Consultative Status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Its philosophy is based in a “small, agile and independent organization” model that allows it to strengthen and capitalize the work done and to face the future challenges with a high management capacity, resource optimization and cost economy; it takes the person as the center of its activities, as the protagonist of the time they live in; and considers education as the real motor of change.
Since 2005, it is qualified by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). It has a framework partnership agreement with the Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Office of the European Commission (ECHO) and a formal agreement with FAO. The FPSC meets all control and transparency requirements in the exercise of its functions of the NGOD Coordinator of Spain.
