In 2015, the regional agreement on social integration for people with disabilities in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Syria has finished. This project was mainly focused on the principle of accessibility of public spaces, virtual spaces and employment, funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Furthermore, several projects that have had an impact in the education in all levels in Palestinian Territories, Lebanon and India have concluded. These projects were funded by Nando Peretti Foundation, Queen Sofía Foundation, Terzo Pilastro FoundationItaly and Mediterranean and private funds of the FPSC. In that area, the implementation of a project in Kazakhstan has also continued. This project has been funded by the Italian Episcopal Conference in order to promote the incorporation of women into the labour market through professional training. Water resources management have also been one of the areas of priority In 2015 are specially outstanding the actions aimed to empower women through education and professional training, in order to integrate them properly in the labour market. For that purpose, a new project financed by the Italian Episcopal Conference in Guatemala has been initiated. In 2016, new activities will be carried out thanks to the funding of The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) in Guatemala and Paraguay. With the goal of promoting entrepreneurship and also aimed to education, a project in Nicaragua has finished with an innovative program of secondary education in rural areas, “Tutorial Learning System” (SAT), whose methodology is “learning by doing”. This project has been financed by Bancaja Foundation. The FPSC work, on the other hand, was referred to guarantee access to safe water and sanitation in Bolivia and Haiti, this work has had a positive impact on health and has been helped by the
intervention, working for an efficient water management, in order to improve the agricultural production and to guarantee food security, and promoting a sustainable rural development model, through the development of two projects and an agreement in Palestinian territories which were funded by the AECID.
