“Enjoy Europe”: European Voluntary Service
The intercultural project “Enjoy Europe”, funded by the European Commission, is developed in Madrid in collaboration with several youth associations that have an agreement of understanding with the Foundation. Run by children and teenagers, this project consists of different workshops in English aiming to communicate in a fun way intercultural values and promoting acquaintance with different traditions, countries, divergent to our own ways of life. In order to do this, young volunteering women apply to the European Voluntary Service (EVS), a program within the Erasmus program, in which the FPSC participates with this intercultural
task. The participating countries are Spain, Austria, Holland and Poland. These young volunteering women develop their voluntary service for 9 months at the Foundations’ headquarters, where they prepare workshops, run daily follow-ups, evaluate participants and write blogs on experiences.
“Training to give it all”: promoting values through sports
Thanks to the Reina Sofia Foundation, the FPSC wants to add a sports tournament to the training session for young people in order to promote sports among young women.
