#Standtogether
The FPSC, along with the International Center for Liberation and Communication, the Friends of the Rome Reports Association, and the ISCOM Association, has participated in the foundation of the project #Standtogether, an inclusive digital platform thought to give voice to discriminated or prosecuted Christians, especially those living in the Middle East, and raise awareness about their situation.
FUNDRAISING CONCERT for FPSC’s projects
On December the 2nd, 2016, the Caravan Back to the 80’s Hall, in Madrid, put on a concert to support FPSC’s projects, with the performance of the group “Hay Tablas”.
XIX Tales Award Mainel Foundation
Trying to make young people think on how to build a better world, the FPSC participated in the organization of the XIX Tales Award Mainel Foundation given to high school students under the slogan “The world you want”. At the prize-giving, held in May, the FPSC showed a video of its work in the Middle East along with a presentation on the fundamental right to drinkable water and sanitation.
CAMPAIGNS
In order to alleviate the refugees’ needs with economical private donations, the FPSC has continued its campaigns in 2016: “Syria: Emergency Call” and “Iraq: a shout of encouragement”. These contributions were assigned to reinforce FPSC’s work with Syrian refugees in Jordan (Za’atary and Azraq Camps) and with host communities in Lebanon, and to meet the Iraqi refugees’ basic needs in Virgen María’s Camp in Bagdad. Aiming to support refugee’s initiative, the FPSC launched a Christmas campaign called “Teatro por la vida” (#teatroporlavida) with the intention of installing a prefabricated module in Za’atari’s
